ABOUT US

Handmade herbal products, made the traditional way, for over 8 years

Country Botanical Delights started at a kitchen table — and it still does. Every product is made by hand, using the same traditional process I've relied on for more than 8 years, not a factory line or a formula handed down from a lab.

MY STORY

I spent about four years working at a local soap shop that changed hands twice — first as Save Our Ailing Planet, then Gaia Soap Shop, and today it continues on as Planet Refills. That hands-on experience is where I learned the craft, working closely with natural ingredients and traditional formulation methods day after day.

Curious where it all started? You can see Planet Refills, the shop where I learned the craft, on Facebook.

In 2025, under Planet Refills' new ownership, I began selling my own handmade herbal products for the first time — recipes I'd been developing and refining long before that, made the same traditional way I learned from the start.

Rooted in Caregiving

Outside of this business, I work as a caregiver — and that's really where this all began. Long before Country Botanical Delights existed, I was making herbal products and creating recipes for the people I cared for, along with friends and family. They loved what I made, and it became something people kept asking me to make again. That's the whole reason this became a business rather than just something I did quietly at home.

What "Small-Batch" Actually Means Here

No large-scale manufacturing, no outsourced production — everything is made by hand, in small batches, using a traditional process at my own kitchen table. It's slower than mass production, but it's how I've made these products for 8+ years, and it's not something I'm interested in changing just to scale faster.
